The gas line has been shut off, and the Lehi Fire Department has given the all-clear for students and staff members to return to Traverse Mountain Elementary. There are approximately 30 students who remain, and they are currently walking back to the school. The reunification site will be at Traverse Mountain Elementary starting at approximately 1:15pm.
The Lehi Fire Department is requesting that parents enter Eagle Summit Park from Digital Drive/North Frontage Road and Traverse Mountain Blvd. Please avoid Traverse Mountain Elementary and the surrounding neighborhood. See attached image from Lehi City. The line to reunite with your student is forming on the WEST SIDE of the pavilion.

Due to an updated timeline from the Lehi Fire Department, we have learned that it could take several hours to reoccupy our building. Because of this, we are moving to a controlled student reunification. Office staff will be available to reunify you with your child under the pavilion at Eagle Summit Park (5100 N 2600 W, Lehi, UT 84043).
To avoid traffic congestion, please walk to the park to pick up your child. If you need to drive, please park away from the park and walk the rest of the way to pick up your student.
Please be patient with office staff as we work to ensure all students are accounted for. If you are not able to pick up your student, they can be released to anyone on your emergency contact list with proper ID. If this is not an option, please rest assured that supervision and meals will be provided for your student until the end of the school day.

An accident on northbound I-15 in the Lindon area has caused significant delays on the freeway and artery roads.
This road closure will impact busing throughout the district. We anticipate bus delays at multiple schools, including activity buses.
All routes will be completed, but it is unknown how long this will take.

Earlier this afternoon, there was an accident on I-15 in the Lindon area. Northbound I-15 is currently closed and freeway and arterial roads are all experiencing significant delays. This road closure will impact busing throughout the district. We anticipate delays at multiple schools, including activity buses. All routes will be completed, but it is unknown how long this will take.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: As the new school year begins, please be aware that there will be a lot of additional traffic around our school properties, especially during drop-off and pick-up times. This will be particularly noticeable during the first few weeks of school as we welcome students and as families settle into routines. Please be extremely patient, and remember to put the safety of all students first.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: All Alpine School District offices and facilities will be closed on Friday, July 4 in recognition of Independence Day.

Traverse Mountain Elementary students follow the Tiger Code: We practice RESPECT, SELF-MASTERY, RESILIENCE, AND COMPASSION.
